Srishti is a trained Bharatanatyam dancer and alumnus of Drama School, Mumbai. She began her performing career in theatre, appearing in plays like Shikhandi: The Story of In-Betweens and others before moving into web series and films.
From theatre stages in Mumbai to sharing screen space with some of Hindi cinema’s biggest stars, Srishti’s journey is one of resilience and craft.
Raised in Lucknow, she pursued dance and acting early, eventually training formally in Mumbai. Her theater background grounded her — she once spoke openly about struggling with auditions, rejection, and being told she “didn’t look like a model” before getting her first big break doing digital sketches that showcased her comic timing and natural screen presence.
Srishti’s transition to films and web series, including roles where she held her own with industry veterans, highlights her versatility and persistence. Her role in Gully Boy had a memorable scene and she continued to build momentum with Gulabo Sitabo and Maja Ma, further proving her range.
She keeps her authenticity at the centre of everything — from dance and theatre roots to relatable, grounded performances that resonate with audiences online and on screen.
She first gained visibility through web series and digital sketches (like with TVF’s Girliyapa) and went on to work in Bollywood films including OK Jaanu, Gully Boy, Gulabo Sitabo, and most recently Maja Ma.
📺 She also played Anandi “Jo” Joshi in the popular SonyLIV web series Girls Hostel.
💬 Early in her journey, she shared that theatre helped her stay confident even when faced with rejection, including being told at auditions that she didn’t look like a model — a challenge she overcame on her way up.
